What I saw on the way home...

The sunset was gorgeous!  Hues of purple, blue and orange.   It was spectacular! 

I didn't have a real camera with me today and had to use my cellphone :(   

For me, a missed photo is a missed opportunity that I will never get again. 

My Shoulda Been Done Long Ago "Ta-Da"

I am stealing the use of Ta-Da for my project from my friend Connie and her girls. A knitting project that I started in Fall 2007  is finally done.  I took it apart mid way though 3 times because it wasn't perfect and then when I started it the 4th time, I screwed up right near the first and decided that was insanity to take it undone AGAIN.  So here it is- being blocked on my carpet.  The pattern is called Falling Leaves, I believe.  I have never made me a scarf before so I am pretty happy with it. 

Happy Valentine's Day!

My Valentine presented me with a heart-shaped box of Turtle candy:

 

E:  "I knew you loved Truffles, so I got them for you. "  

Me:  "That was so nice, and yes, I do like truffles, but you got me some Turtles. They're good, too."  

E:  "What, are you serious? SONOFA... did I pick up the wrong box?  They were right next to the truffles."

The innocence and sincerity of the entire moment was just funny and sweet at the same time. 

He's funny and thoughtful!
